ダンスを自由に踊ることができない世の中が来ることを誰が想像できたであろうか？
バンドが織りなすグルーブに乗って大勢のダンサーが所狭しと踊る。このギュッとなった一体感こそがアイルランドの文化の醍醐味であるが、それが叶わぬ日々が続く。“Seven More”とは「あと7人募集！」の意。8人1組で踊るアイリッシュセットダンスを踊ることができないダンサーが頭の中で夢見る光景である。同じくこの時代の大きな変化によって姿を消してしまうことになったスタジオでの最後の録音として、伴奏することを夢見るケーリーバンドが、踊ることを夢見るダンサー達に送る一枚。
Who could have imagined the world that people couldn’t dance freely? Dancers and musicians love the space full of dancers and grooves. And its sense of unity is exactly one of the best parts of Irish culture but it has never been come true. "Seven More" is a typical call used by a dancer who is alone but wants to dance together at ceili. This is the last recording made at the studio, which was also to disappear due to the great changes of the times, and is contributed to the dancers who dream of dancing by the Ceili Band who dream of accompanying them.

2011年6月、日本に於けるケーリー・バンド (アイルランドのダンスの伴奏専門のバンド) 主導の定期的なケーリー (アイルランドのグループダンスのダンスパーティ) の開催を望む根強い声に押されて結成。定期的にケーリーを主催するケーリー・バンドとしては日本初であり、ほぼ毎月、東京を中心に全国各地でアイリッシュ・ダンスのイベントを開催している*。
2015年、日本初のケーリーバンドコンペティション、Pat Murphy杯優勝。
2016年、アイルランド伝統音楽最大の祭典”Fleadh Cheoil (フラー・キョール)”の、日本初の国内予選”Feile (フェーレ) ” のケーリー・バンド部門で優勝。同年8月にアイルランド本国で開催されたフラー・キョールのケーリー・バンド・コンペティションにアジア圏から初めての出場を果たし、コンペティション史上初のスタンディングオベーションを受け、現地の聴衆やメディアから絶賛された。
2017年4月、1stアルバム「Gathering Cloud」を発売。
2018年より、BB Ceili Band（ビービー・ケーリー・バンド）との共同主催で、国内最大級のアイリッシュ・セット・ダンスのフェスティヴァル”FisdaM (Festivalof Irish Set Dancing in Matsumoto)”、”FisdaN (Festival of Irish SetDancing in Nagano)”を毎年開催。
*2020年4月以降、新型コロナウイルスの影響により一時休止
Toyota Ceili Band was founded at June 2011, due to aspiration by dancers who hoped regular ceili organized by a ceili band. They are the first ceili band which organize almost monthly ceili in Japan. They also has made a lot of events and festivals in Tokyo and in some other area. They got the 1st place at the 1st Ceili Band competition in Japan, called Pat Murphy Cup, in 2015. They also won 1st place of the Ceili Band competition at Feile in 2016, and was qualified for the competition of All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil which is the biggest festival of Irish traditional music and dance. And then, they could be the 1st ceili band qualified from Asian countries and got standing ovation. Their 1st album, “Gathering Cloud”, was released at April 2018. And besides they have organized the Festival of Irish Set Dancing in Nagano with BB Ceili Band every year since 2018.
